Job Description

We are Cognyte, the global leader in security analytics software. We are seeking for a highly skilled and experienced System Architect to join our NI (Network Intelligence) architecture group. The ideal candidate will lead the design and evolution of our enterprise systems. This role requires deep expertise in system security posture, cloud-native architecture, infrastructure technologies, and modern CI/CD pipelines. Your impact

Participate in the design and architecture of a secure, scalable, and high-performance systems – focusing on the underlying infrastructure technologies.
Participate in the design of a cloud-native deployment platform, agnostic to the underlying HW, OS and cloud orchestration technology i.e., Kubernetes, such as OpenShift, Tanzu, etc.
Working closely with R&D and product management in Agile methodology, to design scalable, fail-proof and high-performance solutions
Design CI/CD pipelines to automate and optimize software delivery processes
Conduct sizing, performance tuning and capacity planning for applications and infrastructure.
Provide guidance and support for infrastructure and deployment operations.
Design monitoring and logging solutions to ensure system reliability and performance.
Providing detailed solution architecture and effort estimation as part of presale activities
Providing expertise and technical guidance to the R&D teams
Analysing requirements from product roadmap and customer projects, transforming them into detailed infrastructure design documents and effort estimations
Collaborate with security experts to integrate security best practices into the DevOps process.
Analyze security assessments reports and evaluate the engineering impact (Vulnerability scans, Penetration Testing, etc.).
Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies to drive continuous improvement

Requirements:

Your toolbox

Proven experience as a Infrastructure Architect/ DevOps Architect or a similar role with 12years of experience.
Strong knowledge of DevOps principles, methodologies, and tools
Experience with Kubernetes in multiple platforms e.g. OpenShift, Tanzu, Rancher
Experience with configuration management and automation tools
Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible)
Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, ArgoCD)
Familiarity with security scanning tools (e.g., Nessus, Trivy)
Strong understanding of networking, security, and monitoring
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to details
Strong communication and collaboration skills
An endlessly curious mind with a drive for new challenges

Advantage

BSc in computer science or equivalent degree
Work experience in a global company, customer-facing
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies
