Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site position for a Design Engineer - Mechanical, based in Navi Mumbai. The role involves designing, developing, and optimizing mechanical components and systems while adhering to manufacturing and industry standards. Responsibilities include creating detailed technical drawings, conducting stress/thermal analysis, prototyping, testing product functionality, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to finalize designs. The role requires ensuring that design objectives align with project timelines and quality requirements.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in 3D Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar tools is required.
• Strong knowledge in mechanical design principles, material properties, and thermal/stress analysis.
• Experience with prototyping, testing, and verification of design functionality and accuracy.
• Strong communication, collaborative, and project management skills.
• Good understanding of manufacturing processes and their application in production environments.
• Knowledge or experience in defence and space applications would be an added advantage.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field is essential; advanced degrees or certifications are a plus.
