Design Engineer Mechanical

You will be responsible for creating innovative and cost-effective mechanical designs based on project specifications and requirements. This includes preparing general arrangements, Bills of Materials, and submitting them to the customer according to the project schedule. You will also develop 3D models, assemblies, and detailed drawings using CAD software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, CATIA, or similar tools. Additionally, performing mechanical calculations and selections of various mechanical parts like bearings and shafts will be part of your role. Key Responsibilities: - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate various systems and ensure the design meets overall product requirements - Prepare the design and Bills of Materials in ERP and create the necessary documentation - Proficient in creating manufacturing drawings and defining tolerance with GD&T - Utilize engineering tools for stress analysis, Computational Fluid Dynamics, and Vibration analysis such as Ansys or equivalent methods - Coordinate and communicate multiple tasks simultaneously Qualifications Required: - BE in Mechanical Engineering with at least 3 years of experience - Hands-on experience with design software like SolidWorks and Ansys - Knowledge of design and engineering principles and best practices - Strong presentation skills - Exceptional time management and project completion skills - Excellent written and verbal communication abilities Please note that the job category is Staff, the job type is Permanent, and the job location is in Ambernath (Thane).,
