Assistant Purchasing Manager will be responsible for creating and excellent purchasing function which will enable LLIPL to move towards next level. Job Dimensions This is a full-time onsite role based in our Indian plant (Vadodara, Gujarat). This is a full-time onsite role based in our Indian plant (Vadodara, Gujarat). This role reports to operations manager of the business based in India. Oversee and direct the planning of expansion, implementation and maintenance of manufacturing methods, processes and operations for new or existing products after expansion. Key activities of this role will include the following: Working with Contractor on day-to-day expansion work to meet the timeline of expansion Project Health & Safety – adherence to all Company Health & Safety Policies, Procedures and Safe Working Practices during expansion Project plan for new Set up work instruction for new product development. Prepared Project Plan for all upcoming new Manufacturing line Semiconductors and other which are going to be shifted from U.K to India Maintain Proper 5S during the expansion Smoothly transfer of Machines as per new layout without stoppage of Production line. Ensuring adherence to company policies, regulatory requirements, and ethical sourcing practices. Working closely with different departments like operations, production, and finance to understand their needs and align procurement activities accordingly. Qualifications, Experience & Skills A minimum 2-3 years’ experience within expansion Project Plan, Expansion plan Experience in working in a manufacturing environment, especially electrical circuit protection would be a major advantage. Experience in working in low voltage and medium voltage components. Education: Ideal candidate will have an engineering qualification preferably a Diploma in relevant discipline. Strong negotiation skills: Expertise in negotiating contracts and pricing with suppliers to achieve favourable terms. Excellent interpersonal and business communication skills. High level of initiative with the ability to self-motivate. Works well independently and in team settings Good written and spoken English Exceptional organisational and time management skills Experience in collaborating with global cross-cultural teams. Internal Job Title: Sr Engineer Contracts Engineering Business: Lucy Electric India Private Limited Location: Nashik, India Job Reference No: 3668 Job Purpose To lead the contribution towards engineering function in LEI plant manufacturing various products for secondary distribution network, with special focus on application engineering, customer drawings, approvals & wiring deliverables to production, Job Context The job context shall be on standard work conditions with base salary as per the budget & company norms & other terms & conditions as per company policies, for permanent role of application engineer Key Accountabilities Preparation of Schematic drawings(Power Circuit, Control Circuit, Auxiliary Circuits and Terminal details),Assembling drawings(General arrangement, Foundation Details, Cross section and Instrument arrangement) Co-ordination with Marketing/tendering dept, Quality Dept, Fabrication Dept, Production Dept , Stores & Customer for preparation of drawings & smooth execution Knowledge of and experience with power distribution system fundamentals such as Fault current calculation, Electrical/Mechanical interlocking designing, Current/Voltage protection functions, Busbar size calculations, Load calculation, Numerical Relay selection as per protection parameter requirement, Selection of Current Transformer and Potential Transformer Study of Project Specifications, BOM, SLD & Designing the general arrangement of Medium Voltage Switchgear Panels, Co-ordination with marketing team and if necessary with customer also for technical clarity of project, Handled Busbar size calculations and Relay selection Selection of Current Transformer and Potential Transformer specification (Ratio, VA Burden, etc ) Load calculation for Auxiliary supply sources, Knowledge of various Line Protection, Transformer protection, Transformer Differential Protection Visit at Customer Places for drawings approval Team building & co-ordination with IEC multiple teams for accurate & on-time outputs for AEGIS family Qualifications, Experience & Skills BE (Electrical) AutoCAD MS Office Minimum MV Switchgear Experience of 2-4 years Application engineering experience of schematic/SLD diagrams is must Behavioural Competencies Intuitive Collaborative Good communication skills Supportive Innovative Self Learner About Us: Lucy Electric is a global business that provides medium voltage switching and protection solutions for electrical distribution systems Our dedication to cultivating our service provision allows Lucy Electric to offer a complete solutions package to our customers; facilitating the delivery of electricity to homes and businesses worldwide, Does this sound interestingWe would love to hear from you Our application process in quick and easy Apply today!
