Job Summary:- We are seeking an enthusiastic Design Engineer at the Intermediate level to join our tractor design team. Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will play a vital role in developing tractor components and systems, utilizing your skills to deliver innovative and high-quality designs. Key Responsibilities: Design Development: Collaborate with senior engineers and cross-functional teams to develop tractor components, ensuring alignment with project objectives. CAD Modeling: Utilize PTC CREO software to create precise 3D models, assemblies, and drawings of tractor parts. 2D Creation with GD&T: Develop detailed 2D drawings incorporating Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) principles for manufacturing and assembly processes. Stack-Up Analysis: Perform stack-up analysis to assess dimensional variation and tolerance accumulation in tractor assemblies, ensuring proper fit and functionality. Prototype Development: Assist in prototype creation and testing, providing feedback for design enhancements and improvements. Documentation: Prepare technical documentation and reports to effectively communicate design concepts, GD&T specifications, stack-up analysis results, and analysis results to stakeholders. Windchill PLM: Utilize Windchill Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) software for managing design data, documents, and collaboration within the engineering team. Collaboration: Work closely with manufacturing, quality assurance, and product management teams to ensure design objectives are met. Continuous Improvement: Contribute ideas for process enhancement and participate in initiatives to improve design methodologies. Job Responsibilities:- Hydraulic Design & Development: Collaborate with senior engineers and cross-functional teams to design and develop hydraulic systems and components for tractors, ensuring performance, safety, and reliability standards are met. 3D CAD Modeling: Utilize PTC Creo to develop accurate 3D models and assemblies of hydraulic components and integrated systems. 2D Drawing & GD&T: Generate detailed 2D drawings incorporating Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) to support manufacturing and assembly operations. Tolerance & Stack-Up Analysis: Conduct tolerance stack-up studies to validate design feasibility, dimensional integrity, and system compatibility. Prototype Support: Assist in the prototyping and testing of hydraulic components, analyzing results and contributing to design refinements. Documentation: Prepare comprehensive engineering documentation, including design reports, GD&T specifications, and test summaries for internal and stakeholder communication. PLM Integration: Use Windchill PLM tools to manage design files, change requests, and collaboration across product development teams. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinate with manufacturing, QA, and product management teams to ensure design outcomes are manufacturable, cost-effective, and meet performance benchmarks. Continuous Improvement: Participate in design reviews and contribute ideas for enhancing engineering practices, design standards, and overall product quality Minimum Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field. Proficient in PTC Creo piping, Solid modeling, Assembly & drawing. Strong understanding of hydraulic modeling principles, GD&T, and product design life cycle. Experience in automotive, consumer electronics, or industrial product development is highly desirable. Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
