Job Description:- Role: Manager / Deputy Manager – Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Department: Finance & Accounts Reporting To: Head – Finance / CFO 1. Job Purpose:-To drive accurate and timely financial reporting, revenue analysis, budgeting, cost management, and audits, ensuring alignment with organizational policies, statutory requirements, and business growth objectives. 2. Key Responsibilities & Deliverables Revenue Analysis & Reporting Track and analyze vehicle revenue and prepare revenue MIS reports. Conduct quantitative reporting of vehicle sales for stock exchange submissions. Monitor and analyze non-vehicle revenue streams (Spares, Accessories, RSA, Oil Royalty, Connected Car, etc.). Cost & Warranty Analysis Perform warranty cost analysis and calculate warranty cost rates. Support cost optimization initiatives and identify cost-saving opportunities. Financial Reporting & Compliance Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end close. Prepare financial estimates and forecasts based on business projections. Develop the annual budget and monitor actuals against estimates. Support internal and statutory audits, ensuring compliance with accounting policies and best practices. Process & Systems Establish and enforce financial systems and processes aligned with governance standards. Support special projects, workflow improvements, and digital finance initiatives as directed by departmental head. 3. Functional Competencies Strong knowledge of financial reporting, MIS, and budgeting. Proficiency in SAP / ERP systems, MS Excel, and financial modeling. Understanding of revenue streams, warranty cost structures, and automotive industry finance. Experience in audit management and statutory compliance. 4. Behavioral Competencies Analytical and detail-oriented mindset. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills. Ability to work under strict timelines. Proactive problem-solving and process improvement orientation. 5. Education & Experience Education: Chartered Accountant (CA) / Cost Accountant (ICWA) / MBA Finance. Experience: 5–10 years of relevant experience in financial planning & analysis, revenue reporting, and cost management, preferably in the automotive or manufacturing sector.
