Job Description

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Demi Chef De Partie - South Indian to join our team in Fairmont. The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of experience in the culinary industry, with a strong background in south Indian cuisine.

Roles and Responsibility

  • Assist the head chef in planning and preparing menus for special events and functions.
  • Develop and maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and taste.
  • Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Conduct menu costing and inventory management to optimize resources.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to hygiene standards.

Job Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Demi Chef De Partie or similar role in a professional kitchen setup.
  • Strong knowledge of south Indian cuisine, including cooking techniques and ingredients.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work under pressure.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, maintaining attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with kitchen equipment and appliances, including ovens, stoves, and refrigerators.
  • Commitment to delivering exceptional customer service, ensuring satisfaction and loyalty.
