What would you do?

The Regional Planning Manager – Marketing role will play a pivotal role within the Regional Marketing team in facilitating and driving the RMLT agenda across multiple geographies and initiatives. They will also be a key conduit between the regional functions to ensure alignment with Supply Chain and Finance teams across the AME Region to achieve Volume and financial goals. They will expected to work independently in supporting the strategic roadmap for regional marketing through timely and value added Insights & Recommendations founded in sound data led analysis.

  • University degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
  • Postgraduate studies or certifications in Project Management is an advantage.
  • Experience with prior Regional / Global Marketing planning experience. Experience in insights & Foresights is a great addition
  • Deep understanding of consumer marketing activities and the ability to translate key data into actions
  • Work experience in consumer , category or brands is preferred
  • Ability to deliver management reports in quick turnaround time ensuring high level of accuracy
  • Strong cognitive ability to build and develop growth opportunities analyzing multiple sources of data
  • Understanding of financial key performance indicators (revenue and profit)
  • Experience coordinating multi-market projects, consolidating data, and managing cross-functional communication.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic and diverse environment
  • High attention to detail, able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Proficiency/advanced level excel and power point skills
  • Curious, adaptable, and eager to learn new tools and frameworks related to marketing transformation and consumer experience. Support the identification of business opportunities and the formulation Strategy recommendations
  • Bring critical inputs for the regional marketing strategy updates and developments
  • Identify growth opportunities within our portfolio in different NTO Pools within the Region working closely with I&F teams within CLIENT as well as the wider GBS teams
  • Gather and analyze all consumer related information as well as commercial performance metrics collated and reported by different teams in the DRBUs and Region
  • Work with Regional MLT to build effective and impactful data sources to drive data led decision making on future strategies
  • Supporting global initiatives on key markets to drive growth opportunities in aligning our offers to current and future consumer needs
  • Supporting the DRBU teams in facilitating cross functional investigation and capitalization of growth opportunities based on critical Insights and Foresights from those teams
  • Project manage such initiatives E2E providing timely updates to both regional and DRBU LTs through the stages of discovery to deployment
  • Fluency in English (good verbal and written communication skills)
  • Prior experience in similar roles for multinational CPGs Roles and Responsibilities: Facilitation to translate Regional Marketing Strategies into Demand Plans & Cycle Plan activities
  • Critical Understand of driving above market strategies in a matrix organization and ensuring influencing capabilities at Key Market and DRBU levels
  • Working with Regional Portfolio Deployment teams to ensure Cycle plan alignment with regional strategies
  • Ensuring regional Cycle plans adhere to Global strategies and initiatives across the 36 Month Planning horizon
  • Working with Commercial teams to ensure demand plans and cycle plans are synced
  • Working with I&F teams and commercial teams to ensure demand is realistic and any potential risks and stretches against cycle activities are clearly noted in the IBPM Cycle
  • Project Management support X-Functionally in the region together with DRBU teams to drive OTIF delivery of cycle plan initiatives
  • Expectation leveraging automation and simplification capabilities: Design and develop reporting tools to efficiency collate information that can be deployed across region Drive continuous execution of the planning process in AME Region
  • Play a critical role in the annual planning process to rebase 36month planning cycle with firmed up plans for the next 12-18 Months for marketing cycle activities
  • Working closely with Supply chain to manage regional initiatives to ensure expected results are delivered from such initiatives in terms of Volumes and Profits while managing NCL Exposures
  • Working with Commercial teams continuously through the Monthly IBPM Cycle to ensure bottom up R2 cycle plans and associated demand is in line with the Regional Plan to drive the expected commercial results
  • Liaising with the global teams on any expected impacts to the cycle plan to ensure timely discussion, escalation and amendments to the regional marketing plans and associated commercials
  • Maintain and update monthly a clear RAID Log (Risks, Assumptions, Issues and Dependencies) on all Marketing Activities
  • Ensure collaboration & smooth information exchange between DRBUs
  • Expectation leveraging GBS capabilities: Automate simple reporting format for repetitive data management
  • Building strong and positive team relationships across RSU, DRBU and Global with focus on high standard of delivery and value-added business partnering
