Data Management Specialist

Job Description

We are seeking skilled professionals with 3 to 10 years of experience in financial services or financial services management consulting . The role involves supporting enterprise-wide initiatives related to Data Management , Data Governance , Business Research , Analytics , and Risk & Project Management . This is a high-impact position requiring cross-functional collaboration, analytical rigor, and a strong understanding of the financial services landscape. Key Responsibilities: Drive or contribute to initiatives involving data governance, quality, integrity, and stewardship. Conduct structured business research and develop actionable insights to support strategy, compliance, or operational excellence. Collaborate with stakeholders across business and technology teams to gather, refine, and document requirements. Identify and manage risks, including operational, technology, information security, and data management risks. Develop and enhance frameworks, controls, or procedures aligned with risk and regulatory standards. Build and maintain analytical dashboards, reports, and KPIs to support performance tracking and decision-making. Lead or support project delivery, including planning, execution, tracking, and stakeholder communication. Document and optimize workflows, business processes, and reporting structures. Translate complex technical or risk-related content into audience-appropriate communication for leadership and other teams. Qualifications: 3–10 years of experience in financial services, financial operations, or consulting roles supporting financial institutions. Hands-on experience in one or more areas: data management, analytics, governance, risk, or project management. Strong knowledge of risk domains such as operational risk, technology risk, data risk, or information security risk. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills. Outstanding verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills. Demonstrated ability to work independently and within a matrixed, collaborative environment. Proficiency in tools such as Excel, PowerPoint, SQL, Power BI, Tableau, or similar.
