Data Entry Specialist

Role OverviewWe are seeking a detail-oriented Data Entry Specialist to join our Jewellery Back Office team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of jewellery inventory, sales, and related data. The role requires excellent computer proficiency, accuracy, and speed in data entry, along with the ability to handle confidential information with integrity. Key ResponsibilitiesEnter, update, and maintain jewellery product details, stock records, sales entries, and customer information in the system. Verify and cross-check data to ensure accuracy, consistency, and completeness. Manage digital records, including uploading images, product specifications, and pricing details. Generate and maintain reports for internal teams (sales, accounts, inventory, etc.). Coordinate with showroom staff, accounts, and operations to resolve discrepancies in data. Ensure timely data updates to support smooth business operations. Maintain confidentiality of all sensitive business information. Key RequirementsProven experience as a Data Entry Operator / Back Office Executive, preferably in retail or jewellery industry. Strong computer skills with proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and data entry software. Fast typing speed with high accuracy. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines. Good communication skills for coordination with internal teams. Preferred QualificationsExperience in ERP/CRM systems or jewellery-specific software. Basic understanding of inventory management and billing processes. Graduate degree preferred but not mandatory if skills are strong.
