Job Description

Role Summary: We are looking for a meticulous and proactive HR Manager to lead our human resources operations, with a strong focus on payroll processing and statutory compliance. The ideal candidate will also oversee all other HR functions including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and learning & development. This role is critical in ensuring our HR processes are legally compliant, efficient, and aligned with our company culture and strategic goals. ⸻ Key Responsibilities: Payroll & Compliance (Primary Focus) • Handle end-to-end payroll processing using HR systems (e.g., Keka) with accuracy and timeliness. • Maintain and revise salary structures, pay plans, and employee benefits in line with market benchmarks. • Ensure 100% statutory compliance with PF, ESI, PT, TDS, Gratuity, Bonus Act, Shops & Establishment Act, and other applicable labour laws. • Liaise with auditors, legal advisors, and government departments for inspections, audits, and returns. - Supervise attendance, leave management, and shift planning to ensure smooth HR operations and payroll accuracy. • Manage full and final settlements, bonuses, increments, and statutory payouts accurately. Core HR Functions (Additional Responsibilities) • Develop and execute HR strategies in line with business objectives and growth plans. • Manage the entire recruitment lifecycle to attract and retain high-performing talent. • Foster strong employee relations by addressing concerns, resolving grievances, and conducting disciplinary procedures if necessary. • Drive company culture initiatives, employee engagement programs, and internal communication strategies. • Identify training needs, curate learning paths, and coordinate employee development initiatives. • Maintain updated employee records, contracts, HRMS data, and ensure confidentiality and compliance. • Provide regular HR reports and data-driven insights to support decision-making and workforce planning. ⸻ Requirements: • Proven experience (6+ years) in HR management, with a strong background in payroll and legal compliance. • In-depth knowledge of Indian labour laws, HRMS (especially Keka), and HR best practices. • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills. • High level of integrity, confidentiality, and attention to detail.
