Job Description: Financial Data Analyst Department: Business Finance Location: Chembur Reports To: CFO CTC – 5 to 8 lac Key Responsibilities Data Collection & Management Gather data from internal systems, databases, and external sources. Clean, validate, and maintain data integrity across datasets. Develop and maintain data pipelines and automated reporting tools. Data Analysis & Interpretation Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies. Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA) to support business initiatives. Use statistical techniques to derive insights and support decision-making. Reporting & Visualization Create dashboards and reports using tools like Power BI, Tableau, or Excel. Present findings in a clear and concise manner to stakeholders. Translate complex data into understandable insights for non-technical audiences. Collaboration & Communication Work closely with cross-functional teams including marketing, finance, operations, and IT. Understand business requirements and translate them into analytical solutions. Provide data-driven recommendations to support strategic planning. Continuous Improvement Identify opportunities to improve data collection and analysis processes. Stay updated with industry trends, tools, and best practices in data analytics. Contribute to the development of data governance and quality standards. Support budgeting, financial planning, and monthly closing processes, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and compliance with internal policies. Required Skills & Qualifications Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field. Minimum – 5 years of experience in financial analysis, preferably within the chemical or manufacturing industry. Proficiency in SAP , Excel, and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau). Experience with statistical programming languages (e.g., Python, R) is a plus. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and presentation abilities. Attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy.
