Cyber Inquiry Process(Associate , Senior)

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in handling cybersecurity inquiries related to vulnerabilities, incidents, and security operations within the Cyber Inquiry Process.

• Perform vulnerability management activities by interpreting scan tools and reports, prioritizing risks, and coordinating remediation efforts.

• Manage and track cases, tickets, and escalation workflows using ITSM tools such as ServiceNow and Jira.

• Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation including SOPs, manuals, reports, and technical write-ups to support cybersecurity processes.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and effective response to cybersecurity incidents.

• Provide detailed and clear communication to stakeholders on inquiry status, findings, and resolutions.

• Support continuous improvement initiatives by analyzing patterns and feedback from ongoing cybersecurity inquiries.

Required Qualifications:

• Proven experience in cybersecurity operations and vulnerability management.

• Hands-on expertise with ITSM workflows, including escalation processes and case tracking, preferably with tools like ServiceNow and Jira.

• Strong technical writing skills, including experience in developing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and manuals.

• Ability to interpret outputs from vulnerability scanning tools and cybersecurity reports.

• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and communication skills.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field is preferred.

• Relevant cybersecurity certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, CEH, CISSP Associate) are a plus.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science/ information technology/ Cybersecurity/ Information Security, or a related discipline.

• 1-3 years of hands-on experience in cybersecurity operations, vulnerability management, or a closely related role.

• Practical experience working with IT Service Management (ITSM) platforms such as ServiceNow, Jira, or equivalent tools.

• Experience interpreting vulnerability scan results from tools like Qualys, Nessus, Rapid7, or similar.

• Prior exposure to documentation and technical writing, including the development of SOPs and process manuals.

• Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CEH (Certified Ethical Hacker), or CISSP Associate are preferred but not mandatory.

Associate Qualifications:

• 1–3 years of experience in

  System Classification & Risk Management Support.

• Strong organizational and coordination skills.
• Knowledge of risk management principles and practices:

  Understanding of risk assessment methodologies, mitigation strategies, and relevant regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and process new SCA tasks generated in Pulse (ServiceNow).
• Coordinate with application owners to clarify scope, requirements, and timelines.
• Perform intake validation of SCAs, identify missing inputs, and follow up with submitters.
• Route completed SCAs to the System Classification Leader for review and approval.
• Update risk profiles in My GRC upon approval or closure of SCAs.
• Track annual SCA assignments, follow up on overdue items, and maintain status logs.
• Prepare and distribute BRL (Business Risk Leader) reporting packages with portfolio metrics.
• Act as the central point of contact for BRLs on metrics, tooling, and portfolio-level SCA visibility.
• Manage descope workflows for retiring applications and confirm retirement timelines.
• Maintain descope tracking and follow up on lapsed or delayed retirements.
• Generate and validate monthly Non-Conformance (NC) reports in collaboration with the System Classification Leader.
• Compile and present monthly performance metrics and dashboard summaries.
• Conduct periodic data validation (e.g., classification accuracy, URL consistency) using Excel and Python.
• Maintain and update SOPs, job aids, and knowledge base articles for system classification processes.
• Participate in team meetings, contribute feedback, and support program updates or process changes.
