About The Opportunity
Join a performance-driven travel BPO team selling international flight products and travel ancillaries to global leisure and corporate customers. This on-site role in India is ideal for candidates with experience on Global Distribution Systems (GDS) and a strong sales orientation—responsible for converting enquiries into ticketed sales while ensuring regulatory and ticketing accuracy.Role & Responsibilities
- Handle inbound and outbound sales calls to sell international air tickets, ancillaries, and upgrades—meet and exceed monthly sales targets.
- Create and manage PNRs using GDS platforms (Amadeus/Sabre/Galileo) and perform accurate fare calculation and ticket issuance.
- Process secure payments and refunds via payment gateways while ensuring compliance with IATA rules and company SOPs.
- Use CRM to log interactions, follow up on leads, and drive repeat business through targeted cross-selling and upselling.
- Provide visa, passport, baggage and fare rule advisory to international travellers; escalate complex cases to operations or account managers.
- Maintain high data quality, adhere to QA standards, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in sales scripts and processes.
Skills & Qualifications
Must-Have
- 2+ years of experience in international travel sales or ticketing within a BPO/contact centre environment.
- Proficiency with GDS platforms: Amadeus, Sabre or Galileo.
- Knowledge of IATA ticketing, fare calculation and PNR management.
- Experience using CRM systems (Salesforce preferred) and call centre dialers (Avaya/Genesys).
- Strong spoken and written English with polished telephone etiquette for international customers.
- Willingness to work rotating shifts to cover international markets and peak travel windows.
Preferred
- IATA/UFTAA certification or formal ticketing training.
- Multilingual ability (Arabic, Spanish, French or other international languages).
- Experience managing OTA or corporate travel accounts and high-value bookings.
