Position summary


The Dynamics CRM Developer (Analyst Programmer) ensures the ongoing support and development of the University's Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM and other University Administration Systems (UAS) by integrating and expanding applications through customization, so they perform all the functions for which they were designed with integrity, efficiency, and reliability, and that they operate with optimal availability to users. This opportunity has been created to extend the team as they deliver a strategic project to transform university applications, utilizing MS Dynamics and Power Page Portals as the platform of choice

Key responsibilities

Undertake required customizations according to the scope and the schedule of work. Identify any potential deviations from the schedule and provide advice and recommend solutions to the Manager, Customer and Student Solutions. 


 

Support IT projects and perform operational support to ensure Dynamics CRM, Power Page Portals and the UAS operate effectively through analysis, implementation and support of both application and integration solutions. 

 

 

Support IT projects by implementing and testing software patches and upgrades prior to release, according to the Change Management methodology ensuring minimal service interruption and effective operation of our Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM, Power Page Portals UAS. 

 

Ensure solutions meet or exceed stakeholder expectations and adhere to technical standards on coding and documentation while providing estimations of time, resources required and progress updates of assigned tasks. 

 

 Reflect and embed company’s strategic plan, and operational purpose, priorities, and goals. 

 


Level of supervision and responsibility


The Dynamics CRM Developer (Analyst Programmer) will work under the broad direction of the Manager, Customer and Student Solutions. The Dynamics CRM Developer (Analyst Programmer) will be a subject matter expert in the company’s CRM System and will work as part of the broader Service Operations team. The position carries technical responsibility for the design, development, testing and implementation of authorized changes and enhancements. The Dynamics CRM Developer (Analyst Programmer) will have the ability to work independently and to deliver priorities within agreed timeframes. 


Position and organizational relationships

 

The Dynamics CRM Developer (Analyst Programmer) will report to the Technology Delivery Head, EXPM India and works in close liaison with other project and operational ITS team members. 

 

Key selection criteria


Applicants must demonstrate they are able to undertake the inherent responsibilities of the position as contained in the position description and are able to meet the following key selection criteria: 


Training and qualifications

at least four years subsequent relevant experience


Experience, Knowledge and Attributes

 

5+ years experience

 

Extensive experience developing solutions within Power Page Portal and associated front end technologies is important. 

 

 

Demonstrated experience guiding good technical practices and strong understanding of how to best make use of D365 as a platform. 

 

Demonstrated extensive experience in design, development, and support of solutions within the Dynamics 365 platform and associated technologies including C#, PowerApps and Power Page Portals, FetchXML, Javascript, SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), Kingswaysoft, and Web Services (SOAP/REST). 

Demonstrated experience providing operational support and troubleshooting of complex technical issues within the Microsoft Dynamics CRM platform, including demonstrated experience in customizing solutions in the CRM environment. 


Demonstrated experience implementing, administering, configuring, securing, and enhancing solutions within Microsoft Dynamics CRM with external systems. 


Demonstrated design skills and a high level of expertise in complex systems analysis and design for development of solutions, consistent with business requirements. 


Demonstrated ability to read, contribute to, and produce accurate and relevant documentation and code commenting in accordance with established technical standards. 


Demonstrated project and time management skills, including the ability to manage competing priorities and timelines. 


Demonstrated communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills, including proven experience and ability to work effectively in a team and contribute to a positive and safe workplace culture.
