Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Credit Evaluation & Risk Assessment
:

Analyze borrower financials, business models, and industry risk to assess creditworthiness.
Perform due diligence on target companies for debt buyout or resolution opportunities.

Transaction Structuring
:

Structure and negotiate buyout/restructuring proposals in line with internal policies and regulatory norms.
Evaluate proposals from ARC (Asset Reconstruction Companies), distressed asset investors, or other institutions.

Portfolio Management
:

Monitor performance of restructured/stressed accounts post-resolution.
Maintain close coordination with legal, compliance, and business teams for timely resolution and recovery.

Reporting & Governance
:

Prepare and present detailed credit appraisal notes for senior credit committees.
Track regulatory requirements (e.g., RBI norms on provisioning, resolution timelines).

Stakeholder Coordination
:

Work with auditors, consultants, external legal counsel, ARCs, and rating agencies.
Support senior management in strategic decision-making regarding asset sale or buyout.

Process & Policy Adherence
:

Ensure adherence to internal credit risk policies and controls.
Contribute to continuous improvement of credit monitoring and early warning systems.
