Key Responsibilities:

1. Media Relations & Brand Visibility

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with journalists, editors, and media houses across print, digital, and television.
  • Proactively pitch stories, press releases, and opinion articles to ensure regular and positive media visibility.
  • Identify opportunities for media coverage in business, legal, and financial publications.
  • Manage all media queries, interviews, and press interactions for the CEO and senior management.

2. Events & Public Engagement

  • Identify and secure participation in high-impact industry events, summits, and panel discussions relevant to BFSI, law, and business sectors.
  • Coordinate speaking opportunities, sponsorships, and award nominations to strengthen the firm’s leadership positioning.
  • Manage end-to-end event planning, representation, and follow-up media coverage.

3. Corporate Communication & Content Strategy

  • Draft and edit content including press releases, feature articles, speeches, thought leadership pieces, blogs, and LinkedIn posts.
  • Ensure consistency of tone, messaging, and brand representation across all communications.
  • Work closely with leadership to highlight achievements, case studies, and insights through media and online platforms.
  • Maintain an editorial calendar aligned with firm priorities and upcoming events.

4. Digital & Social Media Management

  • Manage the firm’s presence across LinkedIn, Instagram, Twitter, and other relevant platforms.
  • Develop engaging, professional, and creative content showcasing expertise, milestones, and client success stories.
  • Monitor engagement analytics, respond to followers, and enhance the firm’s digital footprint.
  • Collaborate with design and marketing teams to produce visual content for digital campaigns.

5. Internal Communication & Reporting

  • Prepare and circulate weekly and monthly communication dashboards summarizing coverage, engagement, and outcomes.
  • Maintain a repository of media coverage, articles, and communication materials.
  • Align communication initiatives with organizational goals and ensure timely reporting to the CEO.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication with impeccable editing skills.
  • Strategic thinker with an understanding of brand positioning and public perception.
  • Proficient in social media management, content marketing, and analytics.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Graduate/Postgraduate in Mass Communication, Journalism, Public Relations, or related field.
  • 5–10 years of experience in PR, corporate communications, or media strategy.
  • Prior experience in law firms, BFSI, or corporate communication agencies preferred.
