Job Description

Role Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute a comprehensive corporate communications plan aligned with the company’s objectives and brand positioning
  • Build, strengthen, and proactively manage relationships with journalists, editors, influencers, and other key media contacts to increase positive coverage and brand visibility
  • Develop and implement PR strategies and media outreach plans to support product launches, corporate milestones, and other key initiatives
  • Prepare high-quality materials such as press releases, media statements, op-eds, business updates, quarterly and annual financial results announcements, investor presentations, remarks for quarterly earnings calls, roadshow decks, investor meeting talking points, etc
  • Monitor market trends, peer activity, media coverage, analyst coverage and investor sentiment to provide strategic insights and recommendations to the leadership team
  • Build relationships with journalists, editors, investors, analysts and other capital market participants to enhance company’s market visibility
  • Work closely with internal teams including marketing, finance, strategy, business functions, product lines, MD’s office, amongst others, to ensure consistent and accurate external messaging on company’s strategic direction, performance and value proposition

    Demonstrated success in engaging with journalists and editors to drive consistent, favorable media coverage.

    Skilled at building relationships and influencing across senior leadership, investors, analysts, and media.
  • Analytical and Research Skills:

    Ability to distil market intelligence, monitor sentiment, and derive insights for strategic decision-making.
  • Project Management:

    Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Experience and Qualifications:

  • MBA/CA/CFA or equivalent qualification preferred
  • Proven experience in Public Relations, Communications, Investor Relations, Capital Markets or related fields
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills – both written and verbal
  • Ability to engage confidently with senior leadership and external stakeholders
  • High level of integrity and discretion when handling sensitive information
  • Proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, social listening, relevant media monitoring and CRM tools
