In This Role, You Will

• Provide L2/L3 support for production systems, troubleshoot issues, and minimize downtime.
• Collaborate with development teams for seamless integration and deployment of applications.
• Maintain and enhance CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Monitor system health and performance using tools such as Rundeck, and Splunk.
• Manage cloud-based infrastructure on GCP, ensuring cost efficiency, security, and high availability.
• Automate repetitive tasks using Ansible, Terraform, Python, or Shell scripting.
• Respond to production incidents, perform root cause analysis (RCA), and implement preventive measures.
• Enforce security best practices and ensure compliance with organizational policies.
• Participate in on-call rotation and provide after-hours support as required.
• Support production patching and deployment activities during maintenance windows.
• Host and conduct crisis calls to manage incidents, ensuring timely communication and resolution.
• Review, design, and re-engineer processes to improve performance using new technologies.
• Document troubleshooting steps and contribute to the knowledge base.
• Manage job schedulers, resolve batch failures, and ensure timely transaction processing.
• Coordinate with technical and business teams for issue resolution and enhancements.
• Drive service improvement initiatives, automation, and incident reduction.
  

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:

• Experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or Production Support.
• Proficiency in Linux/Unix administration and troubleshooting.
• Hands-on experience with cloud services (GCP).
• Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD).
• Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Familiarity with Rundeck and Splunk.
• Understanding of networking concepts, DNS, load balancing, and security best practices.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; proactive approach to system reliability.
• Relevant certifications (GCP DevOps Engineer, CKAD, RHCSA) are a plus.
• Willingness to participate in on-call duty and work flexible shifts.
• Knowledge of Production Support processes (Change, Incident, Problem & Service Management).
• Experience with patching and vulnerability management.
• Strong understanding of Linux & Windows platforms; hands-on experience resolving App/Infra issues.
• Familiarity with DevOps operating models and tools (Jenkins, Ansible, GitHub).
• Experience with production monitoring tools (AppDynamics, Grafana, Splunk).
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with global teams across time zones.
• Knowledge of Agile delivery processes and DevOps practices.
• Previous experience with TM1 platform and GCP cloud-based systems is an advantage.
