Description:


We are seeking an experienced Manager with a strong background in consolidation and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS). The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the consolidation of financials and coordinating with auditors. This role requires robust analytical skills, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to communicate complex financial information to stakeholders.


Responsibilities:


  1. ·

    Manage the consolidation process for multiple entities including subsidiaries, joint ventures, and affiliates.
  2. Coordinate with finance teams across various departments and locations to gather financial data for consolidation.
  3. Review and analyze financial statements, trial balances, and supporting documentation to identify discrepancies and ensure data integrity.
  4. Prepare consolidation entries, including eliminations of intercompany transactions, adjustments for minority interests, and consolidation of foreign currency balances.
  5. Develop and maintain consolidation templates, schedules, and procedures to streamline the consolidation process and enhance efficiency.
  6. Ensure compliance with accounting standards (e.g., IFRS, GAAP) and regulatory requirements in the consolidation of financial statements.
  7. Collaborate with external auditors during the audit process, providing support and documentation as needed for the review of consolidated financials.
  8. Assist in the preparation of consolidated financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, in accordance with reporting deadlines.
  9. Analyze consolidated financial results and provide insights to management regarding financial performance, trends, and variances.
  10. Participate in special projects and initiatives related to financial reporting, system enhancements, and process improvements as assigned.



Required Skills & Experience:

  • Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is mandatory.
  • Minimum 5-year post qualification experience.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Good presentation skills.
  • Good understanding of Accounting Standards
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Growth and target oriented.
