The Compensation and Benefits Analyst is responsible for supporting the design, implementation, and administration of compensation and benefits programs. The role ensures internal equity, external competitiveness, and compliance with Indian labor laws and company policies. The analyst conducts market research, data analysis, and benchmarking to support salary structure reviews, incentive plans, and employee benefit schemes. Role & responsibilities Conduct job evaluations and assist in the development of salary structures. With more focus on Mercer job evaluation process Perform market benchmarking and salary surveys to ensure competitive compensation strategies. Analyze compensation data and provide insights to support salary reviews, promotions, and new hire offers. Administer employee benefit programs such as health insurance, provident fund (PF), gratuity, ESIC, and NPS. Monitor statutory compliance related to compensation and benefits in India (e.g., minimum wage, bonus act, labor codes). Assist in the design and analysis of incentive plans, variable pay, and performance-based rewards. Collaborate with HR and finance teams for budgeting and payroll inputs. Extensive experience in HR budgeting Support the annual compensation review and appraisal cycle. Prepare reports and dashboards on compensation metrics for HR leadership. Participate in audits and ensure timely documentation and compliance. Preferred candidate profile Bachelors degree in MBA/PGDM in HR preferred. 7 to 10 years of experience in compensation & benefits, HR analytics, HR operations or related fields Knowledge of Indian compensation laws and statutory requirements.
