Job Description

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Commis I Bakery to join our team at Vivanta Kochi, Aluva. The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of experience in the hospitality industry. (Preferred Female Candidates)


Roles and Responsibility
  • Assist the bakery chef in planning and preparing high-quality bread and pastries.
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety standards.
  • Prepare and cook a variety of bread doughs, including sourdough and artisan bread.
  • Develop new recipes and menus to keep up with current culinary trends.
  • Collaborate with other chefs to ensure seamless service during peak hours.
  • Ensure all food is prepared and presented to the highest standard.

Job Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Commis I Bakery or similar role in a hotel or restaurant setting.
  • Strong knowledge of bakery techniques, ingredients, and equipment.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and inventory management software.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality products.
