Job Description

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Commis I - Asian to join our team in the Hospitality industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cooking and preparing Asian cuisine, with excellent culinary skills and attention to detail.

Roles and Responsibility

Prepare and cook a variety of Asian dishes, including stir-fries, curries, and noodle dishes.
Maintain high levels of cleanliness and sanitation in the kitchen area.
Collaborate with other chefs to ensure consistency and quality of food preparation.
Develop new recipes and menus to keep culinary offerings fresh.
Manage inventory of ingredients and supplies.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

Job Requirements

Proven experience as a chef or cook in an Asian restaurant or similar establishment.
Strong knowledge of Asian cuisine, including Chinese, Japanese, and Korean cooking techniques.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
Familiarity with kitchen equipment and appliances.
High level of creativity and innovation in menu planning and food presentation.
