Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Commis to join our team at JW Marriott, with 2-8 years of experience in the culinary industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Continental, Tandoor, or Asian Cuisine.

Roles and Responsibility

Assist the Chef de Partie in planning and preparing high-quality dishes.
Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety standards.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient food preparation and service.
Develop new recipes and menus to enhance the dining experience.
Conduct inventory management of food supplies and ingredients.
Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.

Job Requirements

Proven experience as a Commis in a professional kitchen setting.
Strong knowledge of cooking techniques, ingredients, and menu planning.
Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Familiarity with kitchen equipment and appliances.
Ability to maintain a clean and organized workspace.
