We are currently at the foundational stage, with a clear strategic vision and a significant market opportunity. We are seeking a visionary technical leader to join as a co-founder and build the technological core of our company.

The Opportunity: More Than a Job, A Founding Partnership

This isn't a typical 9-to-5 role this is a call for a Co-Founder (although it doesn't require you to leave your day job just yet). We are looking for a dedicated and brilliant software engineer to join as a true partner. You will have a significant impact on our product's direction, our company's culture, and our overall success. You won't just be writing code; you'll be building a business from the ground up, making key architectural decisions, and shaping the future of pet care technology.

What You'll Be Doing (The Role)

As the Technical Co-Founder, you will be the architect and builder of the Furvana platform. Your primary focus will be to:

• Lead Full-Stack Development:

  Take complete ownership of the product's technical development, from the database to the front-end. You'll be hands-on, writing clean, scalable, and efficient code.

• Architect the Future:

  Design and implement the entire technical architecture for the Furvana app, ensuring it is robust, secure, and ready for future growth.

• Build the MVP:

  Work closely with me to define, develop, and launch the Minimum Viable Product (MVP) that will showcase our core features to users and investors.

• Shape the Product Roadmap:

  Provide technical insights that will influence our product strategy, feature prioritization, and long-term vision.

• Prepare for Growth:

  As we grow, you will be responsible for scaling the technology, our infrastructure, and eventually, our engineering team.

• Drive Fundraising Efforts:

  Play a key role in the technical due diligence process with potential investors, clearly articulating our technology, roadmap, and vision.

Who We're Looking For (Ideal Candidate Profile)

• Proven Mobile & Full-Stack Expertise:

  A software engineer with demonstrable experience building applications from end-to-end. Crucially, you must have hands-on experience developing, testing, and launching mobile applications for both

  Android and iOS

  .

• Versatile Tech Stack Knowledge:

  Familiarity with cross-platform frameworks like

  React Native

  or

  Flutter

  is highly desirable, as is experience with native development (Swift/Kotlin). Knowledge of back-end languages (Node.js, Python), databases, and cloud services (AWS, GCP, Azure) is also essential.

• Entrepreneurial Spirit:

  You are a self-starter who thrives in an unstructured startup environment. You are resourceful, adaptable, and have a "get-it-done" attitude.

• Product-Oriented Mindset:

  You care deeply about the user experience and are passionate about building products that solve real-world problems.

• A True Pet Lover:

  While not a strict requirement, a genuine passion for pets and an understanding of the challenges pet parents face will be a huge advantage. You should be excited by our mission!

• Excellent Communicator:

  You can clearly articulate complex technical ideas to a non-technical audience (like me, and future investors!).

Compensation & The Offer

Furvana is currently in its pre-seed, pre-funding stage. As such, this is an equity-only role until we secure our first round of funding.

• Significant Equity:

  You will receive a substantial co-founder equity stake in the company. This is a reflection of your foundational role and shared risk.

• Co-Founder Title:

  You will be a Co-Founder & CTO, with all the influence and responsibility that comes with it.

• Future Salary:

  A competitive market-rate salary will be instated for the founding team immediately upon securing funding.
