Our goal is simple: empower barbers and salon professionals to focus on what they do best — delivering outstanding customer service. We take care of the rest by automating day-to-day operations like appointment booking, product sales, staff management, and more. Gobarberly helps barbershops and salons maximize efficiency, drive growth, and create exceptional customer experiences by streamlining the business side of things. What will you have to do? Shape and refine the company’s vision, mission, and long-term strategic goals Lead and build the initial product roadmap, from ideation to launch. Recruit, hire, and mentor the founding team across technical, product, and business functions. Drive fundraising activities, including investor outreach, pitch deck development, and negotiations. Establish key partnerships, customer relationships, and early market traction. Define and continuously improve operational processes and company culture. Wear multiple hats — from product design to customer success — depending on company needs. Monitor industry trends and competitive landscape to inform strategy. Own critical KPIs related to growth, product-market fit, and financial performance. Protect confidentiality and maintain a high level of discretion, given stealth status. What’s required to get started? Entrepreneurial mindset with a high tolerance for ambiguity, risk, and fast pivots. Proven expertise in one or more areas: technology, product development, sales, marketing, operations, or fundraising. Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire, build, and manage a high-performing team. Experience launching products or taking an idea from concept to execution (startups, side projects, or previous ventures are a big plus). Excellent communication and storytelling abilities — both for team building and investor relations. Strategic thinking with a bias toward action and a hands-on approach. Deep commitment to the vision, mission, and long-term success of the company. Ability to thrive under pressure, move quickly, and solve complex problems creatively. Networked in the industry or able to rapidly build meaningful connections with customers, partners, and investors.
