Job Summary
A CNC Machine Programmer will be responsible for creating, testing, and optimizing programs that control computer numerical control (CNC) machines. Also responsible to translate engineering blueprints into precise machining instructions to produce high-quality components.
Responsibilities
- Interpret technical drawings and blueprints to understand project specifications.
- Develop CNC programs (Siemens/Fanuc) using CAD/CAM software for Grinding/Milling/Turning etc operations.
- Set up CNC machines, conduct test runs, and adjust programs for optimal performance.
- Complete Machine Operation, Maintenance, PM, Spare Management.
- Select appropriate tools, materials, and machining processes for each job.
- Collaborate with engineers and global team to troubleshoot issues and improve efficiency.
- Inspect finished parts using precision measuring tools to ensure quality standards.
- Maintain documentation of CNC programs, setup sheets, and revisions.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and operational protocols.
- Can adhere to work efficiently in shifts.
 
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree in CNC programming or related field preferred.
- Certification in CNC programming (Siemens/Fanuc) or machine tool technology is a plus.
- Proficiency in CAD/CAM software (e.g., Mastercam, Fusion 360, SolidWorks).
- Strong understanding of machining processes and materials.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents.
- Experience with 3,4, or 5-axis CNC machines is highly desirable.
