Key Responsibilities:

Cloud Security Architecture (Azure SME)

• Design and implement 

  secure Azure environments

  , including resource groups, VNets, NSGs, and Azure Firewall policies.
• Develop and enforce 

  Azure security baselines

   aligned with Microsoft’s Cloud Adoption Framework (CAF) and Zero Trust principles.
• Manage and monitor 

  Azure Defender

  , 

  Microsoft Sentinel (SIEM/SOAR)

  , and 

  Azure Security Center

   for continuous protection.
• Implement 

  identity and access controls

   using 

  Azure AD

  , 

  Conditional Access

  , and 

  Privileged Identity Management (PIM)

  governance frameworks

   leveraging

Network Security & Architecture

• Architect and manage 

  secure network topologies

   across LAN/WAN and hybrid environments.
• Configure and administer 

  next-generation firewalls

   (e.g., Palo Alto) and 

  VPNs

   for site-to-site and remote connectivity.
• Deploy and manage 

  IDS/IPS

   and 

  network segmentation

   to contain lateral movement.
• Implement 

  Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA)

   and microsegmentation strategies.
• Perform regular 

  network security audits

   and optimize firewall rule sets for efficiency and compliance.

Infrastructure & Systems Management

• Design, implement, and maintain 

  on-prem and cloud infrastructure

  , including servers, routers, switches, and storage systems.
• Manage 

  virtualization platforms

   (VMware / Hyper-V) and support migration to cloud-native workloads.
• Ensure 

  resiliency, high availability, and disaster recovery

   for critical systems.
• Lead 

  infrastructure automation initiatives

   using PowerShell, Azure CLI, or Terraform.

Security Operations & Threat Management

• Operate and enhance 

  EDR/antivirus

   and 

  SIEM

   systems (e.g., Splunk, QRadar, or Sentinel).
• Monitor and investigate alerts, conduct threat hunting, and coordinate incident response.
• Oversee 

  vulnerability management

   and 

  patch compliance

   across hybrid assets.
• Drive 

  forensic analysis and root cause investigation

   of security incidents.

Identity & Access Management

• Administer and secure 

  on-prem Active Directory

Qualifications & Skills:

• 7+ years of experience in 

  IT Infrastructure and Security Engineering

• Strong experience in 

  Azure cloud architecture, security, and governance

• Advanced hands-on skills with:

• Azure Firewall, NSGs, ASGs, WAF

• Microsoft Defender for Cloud, Sentinel, and Security Center

• Palo Alto firewalls

  VPNs

  , and 

  network segmentation

• SIEM/EDR platforms

   (Splunk, QRadar, Sentinel, CrowdStrike)
• Deep knowledge of
