Job Title: Appian Developer

Location: Offshore – Chennai/ Hyderabad / Remote

Experience Required: 7 to 9 years

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and certified Appian Developer with 7 to 9 years of hands-on experience in designing, developing, and implementing enterprise applications using Appian BPM (19.x, 20.x and above). The ideal candidate will be responsible for both leading a team and contributing to hands-on development efforts. This role involves a balanced focus on team leadership, architecture, development, and integration of Appian-based solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop scalable, high-performance business process applications using Appian.

• Create and manage Appian objects including SAIL interfaces, process models, records, rules, reports, and decision logic.

• Contribute to multiple areas of Appian development such as workflows, records, sites, reports, and AI capabilities.

• Build task and process reports to support business and operational monitoring.

• Integrate Appian with external systems using Web APIs, RESTful services, Appian Connected Systems, and custom plug-ins.

• Write and maintain SQL/Oracle scripts, including stored procedures, views, and tables.

• Lead a team of 4 to 5 Appian developers, conduct code reviews, and ensure adherence to best practices.

• Maintain strong debugging capabilities to identify and resolve issues efficiently.

• Balance leadership duties with active involvement in hands-on application development (50% leadership, 50% development).

Required Qualifications:

• 7 to 9 years of hands-on experience with Appian BPM (19.x/20.x+).

• Appian L2 certification or higher is mandatory.

• Proficient in Appian architecture and scalable solution design.

• Strong experience in system integration using RESTful APIs and custom plug-ins.

• Good knowledge of RDBMS (SQL/Oracle).

• Demonstrated experience in leading small technical teams and reviewing code.
