Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Appian Developer to design, develop, and implement process automation solutions using the Appian Low-Code BPM platform. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with business analysts, architects, and technical teams to deliver scalable, high-quality enterprise applications.

Key Responsibilities

Design and develop end-to-end solutions using Appian BPM, including:

• Process Models
• Records
• Interfaces (SAIL)
• Rules
• Sites & Reports
• Web APIs and Integrations
• AI Skills & Document Extraction
• Appian RPA

• Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into Appian solutions

• Participate in the full SDLC: requirements gathering, design, development, testing, deployment, and support

• Perform unit testing, integration testing, and troubleshoot technical issues

• Integrate Appian with third-party systems using REST / SOAP APIs and middleware

• Ensure adherence to Appian best practices and design standards

• Participate in code reviews and continuous improvement initiatives

• Create and maintain technical documentation

• Support production deployments, performance tuning, and user issue resolution

Required Skills & Qualifications

2-7 years of hands-on Appian development experience

Strong experience with Appian 21.x or higher

Hands-on expertise in:

• Process Models

• Data Fabric

• Interfaces (SAIL)

• Records and Reports

• Strong SQL skills

• Experience with relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL)

• Strong understanding of BPM principles, Appian architecture, and application lifecycle

• Experience with RESTful web services, JSON/XML, and API integrations

• Ability to write clean, efficient, and reusable code

• Excellent debugging and problem-solving skills

• Good communication and collaboration skills

• LinkedIn ID required (Appian ID is good to have)

Preferred Skills

• Appian Certified Developer (Associate or Senior)
• Experience with Agile methodologies and tools (JIRA, Confluence, etc.)
• Knowledge of DevOps / CI-CD practices for Appian
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
