Cloud Engineer

.In this role, you will play a key part in designing, automating, and scaling cloud infrastructure that supports mission-critical, high-volume systems. You will work closely with engineering and product teams to streamline deployments, improve reliability, and strengthen security across cloud environments. The position offers exposure to modern DevOps practices, cloud-native architectures, and large-scale distributed systems. Accountabilities
- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate build, test, and deployment workflows
- Manage and automate cloud infrastructure using infrastructure-as-code tools
- Collaborate with development teams to optimize release cycles and deployment strategies
- Monitor, optimize, and ensure performance, availability, and scalability of cloud systems
- Design and manage cloud networking components including VPCs, subnets, routing, gateways, and connectivity
- Implement and maintain strong cloud security practices, including IAM, encryption, and compliance controls
- Perform security audits, vulnerability assessments, and remediation activities
- Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure, deployment, and performance issues
- Maintain clear documentation for infrastructure, CI/CD processes, and operational procedures
- Support hybrid or multi-cloud environments and contribute to containerized workloads when applicable
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in cloud engineering, DevOps, or infrastructure automation roles
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, ECS or EKS, and monitoring tools
- Proven expertise with CI/CD tools including Jenkins and GitHub Actions
- Solid experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform and CloudFormation
- Strong scripting skills using Python, Bash, or PowerShell
- Good understanding of Linux or Unix systems and cloud networking fundamentals
- Experience implementing cloud security best practices, IAM policies, and compliance controls
- Familiarity with containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes is a strong plus
- Exposure to Azure services and multi-cloud environments is an advantage
- Relevant cloud certifications are preferred
- Strong problem-solving skills, ownership mindset, and ability to work collaboratively across teams
