Job Description

The Closing Manager is responsible for managing all activities involved in the final stages of real estate transactions. This includes coordinating with clients, legal teams, banks, and internal departments to ensure smooth, timely, and legally compliant property closings. The role requires strong attention to detail, superior organizational skills, and a deep understanding of the real estate closing process, including documentation, regulatory compliance, and customer relationship management. Key Responsibilities: 1. Closing Coordination Coordinate all aspects of the property closing process with buyers, sellers, brokers, legal counsel, and financial institutions. Ensure all necessary documents are prepared, signed, and properly filed. Schedule and conduct closing meetings with clients. Monitor and track transaction timelines to avoid delays. 2. Documentation and Compliance Review sales agreements, title reports, loan documentation, and legal compliance paperwork. Ensure that all closings adhere to regulatory and legal requirements (RERA, stamp duty, registration, etc.). Manage title clearance, encumbrance certificates, and other due diligence requirements. 3. Client Communication & Support Serve as the main point of contact for clients during the closing phase. Address customer concerns, resolve issues quickly, and provide status updates. Assist clients in understanding closing costs, payment schedules, and documentation. 4. Coordination with Stakeholders Liaise with banks/NBFCs to ensure home loan disbursement and payment settlements. Coordinate with legal teams for registration and compliance checks. Work with internal departments like sales, legal, CRM, and accounts to align processes. 5. Reporting & Records Management Maintain accurate records of all closings, payment receipts, and pending actions. Generate reports on closing timelines, status updates, and revenue recognition. Track commissions and ensure compliance with payout structures. Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Real Estate, Law, or a related field. 2–4 years of experience in real estate closing or transaction management. Understanding of real estate laws, property registration processes, and financial documentation. Proficiency in MS Office and CRM systems. Key Skills & Competencies: Strong organizational and time-management skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail. Customer-focused with a service-oriented approach. Knowledge of local real estate market and regulatory landscape. Preferred: Experience in residential or commercial real estate sales/closings. Working knowledge of RERA and real estate finance documentation. Familiarity with digital signing and property registration portals.
