What You’ll Do

• Build Biocog’s core MRV system: convert GST, invoices, utility data into carbon baselines.
• Implement verification logic, fraud-detection rules, and emission-factor mapping.
• Work with AI engineer to turn models (OCR, anomaly, LLM checks) into production workflows.
• Create credit-grade traceability: data lineage, QC layers, audit trails.
• Develop Scope 1/2/3 calculation modules for MSMEs (simplified, automated).
• Own the carbon → finance pipeline (reductions → creditability → loan triggers).

Must-Have Skills (Non-negotiable)

• Strong understanding of

  carbon accounting frameworks

  (IPCC, GHG Protocol, BEE, CDM/ART/Verra).
• Experience with

  MRV systems

  , uncertainty analysis, and baseline modelling.
• Ability to work with

  raw operational data

  → GST, invoices, utility bills, fuel logs.
• Technical skills:

  Python

  ,

  SQL

  ,

  data pipelines

  , API integration, basic ML familiarity.
• Understanding of

  Scope 1/2/3 logic

  , emission factors, activity data structures.
• Ability to design

  fraud-resistant verification

  (consistency checks, anomaly rules).
• Good with documentation + regulatory language.
