Job Title: Business Development Manager and Client Relationship Manager Location: Bengaluru and Mumbai Open Positions: 5 Industry: Building Materials / Architecture & Interior Design Ecosystem Experience: 2–6 years preferred (BD / Sales / Partnerships) Job Overview We are seeking dynamic and well-presented Business Development Managers to connect with architects, interior designers, and industry professionals on behalf of our clients from the building materials sector. The ideal candidates will excel at relationship-building, lead generation through designer-specifications, and managing appointments and follow-ups with key stakeholders. Key Roles & Responsibilities 1. Relationship Building & Client Outreach - Connect with prospective architects and interior designers to introduce client brands and offerings. Build strong working relationships with design firms, studios, and influencers within the A&D community. Schedule regular appointments and product presentations for clients with designers. 2. Coordination & Process Management - Work closely with internal research and follow-up teams to ensure timely execution of tasks. Maintain and update client worksheets, CRM tools, meeting trackers, and follow standard BD processes. Participate in weekly onboarding sessions, training, and performance review meetings. 3. Event Support & Engagement - Manage RSVP coordination for curated events, designer meet-ups, launches, and showroom activities. Ensure strong designer participation and engagement in all client-led events. 4. Business Growth & Lead Generation - Follow up with architects and designers for ongoing and new enquiries. Understand designer requirements and match them with client products/solutions. Drive new business generation through designer specifications for categories such as marble, stones, furniture, lighting, home automation, décor and other building material products. 5. Client Interaction - Directly interact with clients from multiple building materials industries and ensure their requirements are met. Present meeting updates, progress reports, and pipeline status to clients regularly. Required Skills & Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Architecture, or related fields (preferred). 2–6 years of relevant experience in Business Development, Sales, Architecture/Design liaison, or Building Materials sector. Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage multiple client accounts and maintain organized workflows. Comfortable with field visits, presentations, and engaging with design professionals. Proficiency in MS Office, Google Workspace, and CRM tools.
