Job Title: Chief Technology Officer (CTO)

Key Responsibilities:

• Technology Strategy & Vision

• Develop and execute a long-term technology strategy aligned with the company’s vision and growth objectives.
• Evaluate and implement emerging technologies to maintain a competitive edge.

• Leadership & Management

• Lead, mentor, and scale a high-performing engineering and IT team.
• Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

• Product & Engineering Oversight

• Oversee the design, development, and deployment of products, ensuring performance, scalability, and security.
• Manage the product lifecycle in close collaboration with Product Management and Design.

• Infrastructure & Operations

• Ensure the reliability, scalability, and security of all technology systems and infrastructure.
• Oversee DevOps, cloud architecture, data security, and IT operations.

• Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Work closely with executive leadership to align technology initiatives with business goals.
• Serve as a key technology advisor to stakeholders including investors, board members, and partners.

• Compliance & Risk Management

• Ensure technology compliance with regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPR, SOC 2).
• Identify and mitigate technical risks and vulnerabilities.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a CTO or in a senior technology leadership role.
• Strong background in software engineering, systems architecture, and product development.
• Experience with modern tech stacks (e.g., cloud platforms like AWS/GCP, microservices, APIs, DevOps tools).
• Track record of scaling technology teams and systems in a growth-stage company.
• Deep understanding of cybersecurity, data privacy, and risk management.
• Strong business acumen and ability to communicate complex tech topics to non-technical stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (MBA is a plus).
