Role Overview:


The Chief of Staff will work directly with the CEO, providing strategic, analytical, and operational support on key business initiatives. This role is designed for a high-potential MBA graduate who aspires to gain exposure to strategic decision-making, business planning, and cross-functional collaboration at the leadership level.


This position offers an accelerated learning curve, close mentorship from the CEO, and visibility into the company’s overall direction, performance, and governance.


Key Responsibilities:


Strategic Planning & Business Execution

  • Support the CEO in planning, tracking, and executing company-wide strategic initiatives.
  • Conduct business research, competitor benchmarking, and data-driven analysis to aid decision-making.
  • Prepare and review strategic presentations, business reports, and dashboards.
  • Work on cross-functional projects that have high organizational impact.


Board & Leadership Coordination

  • Coordinate with the Board and prepare reports, meeting notes, and action trackers for Board and leadership reviews.
  • Assist in planning and organizing quarterly and annual Board meetings.
  • Ensure follow-ups on key decisions and timely communication between the CEO’s office and Board members.


Operational Excellence

  • Drive alignment across departments by monitoring project progress and ensuring timely execution.
  • Identify gaps, bottlenecks, and opportunities for process improvement.
  • Maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion on sensitive matters.


Communication & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Draft executive briefs, communication notes, and internal updates for the CEO.
  • Partner with functional heads (Product, Marketing, Finance, HR, and Operations) to ensure effective collaboration.
  • Represent the CEO’s office in internal and external meetings, when required.


Skills & Competencies Required:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication, writing, and presentation skills.
  • High learning agility and ability to work under ambiguity.
  • Strong stakeholder management and interpersonal skills.
  • Maturity, confidentiality, and discretion when handling sensitive information.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and business analysis tools.


Education & Experience:

  • MBA / PGDM from premier institutes (IIMs, ISB, XLRI, SPJIMR, FMS, MDI, or equivalent)
  • At least 2 years of experience in consulting background in one of the Big 4's.
