Min Experience: 10 yearsLocation: BangaloreJobType: full-timeThis is a group-wide leadership mandate overseeing multiple business verticals. The Chief Marketing Officer will drive an integrated marketing vision across:
  • Mobility and automotive retail
  • Consumer digital platforms
  • AI & software services
  • Ed-tech and emerging technology ventures
The CMO will define brand direction, enhance customer engagement, build scalable digital demand engines, lead agency partnerships, and unify marketing communication across all businesses. The role reports directly to the Group Managing Director and collaborates closely with business heads, sales leaders, and product owners.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

Brand & Strategic Leadership

  • Develop and unify the Group's brand architecture across legacy and digital-first businesses.
  • Lead brand positioning, narrative building, and multi-channel communication strategy.
  • Oversee end-to-end marketing initiatives including ATL, BTL, digital, content, influencer, and experiential marketing.

Digital & Growth Marketing

  • Build a strong digital-first brand presence with always-on content and engagement models.
  • Lead performance marketing, CRM, marketing automation, analytics, and lifecycle programs.
  • Drive measurable digital demand generation across online business units and product portfolios.

Technology, Innovation & MarTech

  • Implement modern MarTech stack — automation, AI-led insights, analytics, and personalization tools.
  • Experiment with new platforms, customer engagement formats, and immersive digital experiences.

Agency & Media Leadership

  • Manage the full ecosystem of PR, creative, digital, media, and performance agencies.
  • Build selective in-house skills where beneficial for speed, quality, and ROI.

Commercial & Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Partner with sales leaders to align marketing strategies with revenue outcomes.
  • Support product, tech, and business teams in GTM and launch strategies across markets.

Team & Culture Building

  • Build, scale, and mentor a high-performing marketing organisation.
  • Champion creativity, design-led thinking, data-driven decision-making, and a consumer-first mindset.

Candidate Profile

Must-Haves

  • 10-20 years of progressive experience in senior marketing leadership roles.
  • Proven experience across both consumer and technology-driven sectors.
  • Strong expertise in brand strategy, digital marketing, customer acquisition, PR, and communication.
  • Experience managing marketing across multi-business or multi-segment environments.

Preferred Experience

  • Background in mobility, automotive, consumer tech, digital commerce, AI/Software, or EdTech.
  • Experience scaling brands in high-growth, digital transformation, or diversified business environments.
  • Track record of balancing traditional brand building with digital growth and performance channels.
