Job Summary

• The Chief Information Officer (CIO) is responsible for leading the organizations IT strategy, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and digital transformation initiatives. The CIO oversees IT operations, ensures technology alignment with business goals, manages IT budgets, and builds strong partnerships with internal teams and external service providers. This role ensures secure, reliable, and scalable IT systems across the company.

Key Responsibilities

1. IT Strategy & Leadership

• Develop and execute the companys overall IT strategy.
• Align technology initiatives with business objectives and future growth.
• Lead enterprise-wide digital transformation programs.

2. IT Operations & Infrastructure

• Oversee daily IT operations, network systems, cloud environments, and data centers.
• Ensure high system uptime, performance, and reliability.

3. Cybersecurity & Compliance

• Implement and maintain cybersecurity policies and risk frameworks.
• Ensure compliance with data protection and IT regulatory standards (ISO, GDPR, SOC2).
• Oversee security audits and incident response processes.

4. Enterprise Applications & Systems

• Lead implementation and optimization of ERP, CRM, HRMS, and business applications.
• Manage integrations and system upgrades.

5. Vendor & Outsourcing Management

• Manage relationships with IT vendors, MSPs, and outsourcing partners.
• Negotiate contracts, SLAs, and service-level performance.
• Evaluate third-party services for quality, cost, and scalability.

6. Budgeting & Cost Optimization

• Oversee IT budgets and forecast future technology investments.
• Optimize IT spending and resource allocation.

7. Stakeholder Collaboration

• Partner with CXOs, department heads, and business units to support IT needs.
• Provide technology insights for strategic decision-making.

8. Team Leadership

• Build and lead IT infrastructure, support, security, and application teams.
• Promote best practices, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
• 12+ years of progressive experience in IT leadership roles.
• Strong knowledge of IT operations, cloud technologies, cybersecurity, and enterprise systems.
• Experience in managing large IT teams and multi-location operations.
• Strong vendor management and outsourcing experience.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and decision-making skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in IT services, enterprise IT, BFSI, or technology-driven companies.
• Certifications such as ITIL, PMP, CISSP, CISM, or cloud certifications.
