Chief Accounting Officer

Role Overview: As a Financial Reporting Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements in compliance with Indian GAAP and IFRS. Your role will also involve ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, including timely submission of RBI returns and tax filings. Additionally, you will be implementing and maintaining internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure accurate financial reporting. Key Responsibilities: - Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements in compliance with Indian GAAP and IFRS. - Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including timely submission of RBI returns and tax filings. - Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure accurate financial reporting. - Act as the primary point of contact for internal and external audits, providing necessary support and coordination. - Ensure compliance with various regulatory requirements and industry standards. - Lead and mentor the accounting team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development. - Collaborate with other departments to align financial goals with operational objectives. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. - Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is mandatory. - 10-15 years of experience in accounting or finance roles, with a strong understanding of financial regulations and reporting standards. - Proven experience in managing accounting functions in a startup or high-growth environment. - Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills. - Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment.
