Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Chartered Accountant (CA) to take charge of financial management, statutory compliance, taxation, audit, and reporting functions. The CA will be responsible for ensuring accuracy, transparency, and efficiency in all financial operations. The role also involves providing financial insights, advising on cost optimization, and ensuring strict adherence to regulatory requirements.

The ideal candidate will bring strong technical knowledge of Indian Accounting Standards, Taxation (Direct & Indirect), and hands-on experience in audits, compliance, and financial planning.

Key Roles & Responsibilities1. Financial Reporting & Accounting

  • Preparation and finalization of financial statements as per Indian Accounting Standards.
  • Ensure accurate and up-to-date books of accounts in compliance with statutory requirements.
  • Supervise journal entries, reconciliations, general ledger, and monthly/quarterly closing.
  • Maintain accurate records for fixed assets, liabilities, provisions, and reserves.
  • Ensure timely MIS reporting to management for business decisions.

2. Taxation & Regulatory Compliance

  • Handle Direct Taxation (Income Tax, Advance Tax, TDS, etc.) and Indirect Taxation (GST, GST Returns, GST Audit).
  • Preparation and filing of Income Tax Returns, GST Returns, and other statutory filings.
  • Manage tax assessments, appeals, and liaise with tax authorities as required.
  • Ensure compliance with all corporate laws, labor laws, and statutory requirements.
  • Keep updated on amendments in taxation and accounting laws and implement them.

3. Audit & Internal Controls

  • Lead statutory, tax, internal, and cost audits in coordination with auditors.
  • Implement strong internal control systems to safeguard company assets.
  • Review audit observations and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
  • Conduct internal financial reviews and ensure zero non-compliance.

4. Budgeting, Forecasting & Financial Planning

  • Prepare annual budgets, forecasts, and financial projections.
  • Conduct variance analysis between budgeted and actual financials, reporting deviations.
  • Provide recommendations for cost control, resource allocation, and process improvement.
  • Support management in investment planning, fund management, and capital structuring.

5. Accounts Payable & Receivable Management

  • Monitor vendor payments, supplier reconciliations, and expense approvals.
  • Ensure timely collection of receivables, maintaining a healthy cash flow cycle.
  • Reconcile bank accounts, customer/vendor ledgers, and inter-company balances.
  • Review aging reports and take necessary action for overdue receivables.

6. Financial Advisory & Strategic Support

  • Advise management on financial implications of strategic decisions.
  • Provide insights on profitability, costing, and efficiency enhancement.
  • Evaluate feasibility for new projects and business expansion.
  • Conduct risk analysis and propose mitigation strategies.

Skills & Competencies Required

  • In-depth knowledge of Accounting Standards (Ind AS), Direct & Indirect Taxes, and Corporate Laws.
  • Proficiency in Tally ERP, MS Excel, MS Office, and financial reporting tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to coordinate with auditors, tax authorities, and internal stakeholders.
  • Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI).
  • 2–5 years of post-qualification experience in accounting, taxation, compliance, and audits.
  • Experience in manufacturing, FMCG, or service industries will be an added advantage.
  • Articleship with reputed CA firms will be considered positively.

Remuneration & Benefits

  • Salary Budget: Up to ₹60,000 per month (negotiable based on experience and skills).

Pay: ₹60,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
