The Role The Manager – SAP SD Module Expert is a key role responsible for the analysis, design, configuration & support of the SAP SD and Logistics functions to meet the business needs of RAK Ceramics Group of companies. Working closely with SAP Functional Specialists to deliver, maintain, troubleshoot and enhance SAP functionality. SAP level 3 support and release assignments for RAK Ceramics across all locations. What You Will Be Doing Provides specialist level functional and configuration knowledge in designing SAP solutions in the SD module of SAP S/4HANA and SAP ECC 6 EHP5. Supports production configuration and assist in functional change requests as per release plan. Supports business implementations by sharing best practice configuration skills. Works with the Service Desk to facilitate incident & problem resolution. Participate in release upgrade or new functionality / enhancement assessments and make recommendations. Conduct requirement gathering sessions with users, suggest and blueprint solutions & documentation designs. Ensure compliance to existing, and development of required data and reporting standards. Ensure the integrity of the SD configuration of the SAP system across multiple landscapes. Respond to user requirements, problem resolution, develop designs, and process modeling. Conduct configuration changes to accommodate change requests and prototype activities. Assist in training activities Perform initial testing of problem fixes, change request, enhancements, and new functionality. Work with SAP support team to resolve software bugs. Keep abreast of SAP releases, enhancements/new functionality and perform application research. Perform break/fix analysis and recommend solutions for sales related processes. Develop functional specifications and work with BASIS and ABAP personnel resources to complete object development and testing Lead and coordinate the work of a small team comprising of business core users and consultants. Provide leadership in the development of functional skills in others through active knowledge sharing Understand and apply RAK Ceramics methodologies and procedures Ability to co-ordinate and interact with multiple teams Perform any ad-hoc tasks as required (can involve resolution of tickets of other related modules, for example, LE) What are the key skills required for this role: Expert SAP configuration skills in SD Module Domain experience in Sales & Distribution business function, preferably in a manufacturing industry. Solid understanding of SAP data model in Sales & Distribution module. Thorough understanding of business processes. Familiarity with SAP architecture. Familiarity with SAP Fiori apps in S/4HANA environments Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA tools like Data Migration Cockpit Good project management skills, operating as part of a team organizing, planning, and executing large-scale projects from vision through implementation.
