Company Overview IIT Kanpur Development Foundation (IITK DF) is a Section 8, not-for-profit company established by IIT Kanpur with the objective of engaging external stakeholders β including alumni, corporates, foundations, and philanthropists β and raising funds to support the long-term goals of the institute. Development Foundations like these are integral to top global universities. We are seeking to appoint a Telecaller β Alumni and Corporates to play a key role in driving alumni donations and initiating outreach to corporate leads. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES ALUMNI CALLING & PLEDGE CONVERSION ο· Call alumni who have pledged but not yet donated, explain giving options, and encourage completion of donations. ο· Share donation links, reminders, and impact information via email/whatsapp post-call. ο· Maintain accurate records of conversations, responses, and follow-up needs. BATCH FUNDRAISING SUPPORT ο· Assist in maintaining and updating batch-wise donor tracking sheets. ο· Coordinate with batch coordinators when required for alumni responses and follow-ups. ο· Support the Fundraising Team in creating summaries and dashboards on batch progress and alumni engagement. CORPORATE OUTREACH & LEAD GENERATION ο· Conduct initial outreach to corporate CSR teams, HR heads, and decision-makers to gauge interest in partnering with IIT Kanpur. ο· Collect and record relevant contact details, CSR focus areas, and partnership history. ο· Identify warm leads and share with the Corporate Partnerships team for further engagement. DATA MANAGEMENT &REPORTING ο· Maintain structured trackers for alumni and corporate calls, including call outcomes and next steps. ο· Support basic reporting for calling campaigns (daily/weekly summaries). ο· Coordinate with the Data and Fundraising teams to keep donor and lead databases updated. SUPPORT TO FUNDRAISING CAMPAIGNS ο· Assist in batch fundraising activities by making follow-up calls and tracking alumni engagement. ο· Contribute insights to improve communication scripts and donor messaging. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS ο· Graduate in any discipline ο· 2β3 years of experience in telecalling, inside sales, lead generation, or donor engagement ο· Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Hindi ο· Proficiency in MS Excel and familiarity with CRM tools (e.g. Zoho) preferred ο· Ability to work with calling targets and meet follow-up timelines TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS ο· Minimal (5%) Show more Show less
