Business System Analyst

Responsibilities

• Part of a team of developers and analysing and identifying the system problems in the existing flow of the product, and implementing appropriate solutions.
• Design systems and conduct testing to evaluate results, along with researching and recommending ways to improve the product construct to suit the domestic and global market.
• You would be responsible for driving the identification of requirements across the products and identifying substandard systems processes through the evaluation of real-time data.
• Serve as a thought leader for technical business processes, developing forward-thinking systems prototypes that promote increased efficiency and productivity on multiple levels.
• Create and implement precise management plans for every project, with attention to transparent communication at all levels.
• Perform, evaluate, and communicate thorough quality assurance at every stage of systems development.
• Determine and develop user requirements for systems in production, to ensure maximum usability.
• Elicits, analyses, specifies, and validates the business needs of the product team.
• Collaborates with project sponsors to determine project scope and vision.
• Clearly identifies and establishes customer classes, as well as their characteristics.
• Conducts discussion and research to create workflow storyboards, use cases, scenarios, and other methods.
• Identifies and establishes the scope and parameters of requirements analysis on the product to define project impact, outcome criteria, and metrics.
• Works with stakeholders and the project team to prioritise collected requirements.
• Researches, reviews, and analyses the effectiveness and efficiency of existing requirements-gathering processes and develops strategies for enhancing or further leveraging these processes.
• Assists in conducting research on products to meet agreed-upon requirements and to support purchasing efforts.
• Participates in the selection of any requirements documentation software solutions.
• Analyses and verifies requirements for completeness, consistency, comprehensibility, feasibility, and conformity to standards.
• Develops and utilises standard templates to accurately and concisely write requirements specifications.
• Translates conceptual requirements into functional requirements in a clear manner that is comprehensible to developers/project team.
• Creates process models, specifications, diagrams, and charts to provide direction to developers and/or the project team.
• Develops and conducts peer reviews of the business requirements to ensure that requirement specifications are correctly interpreted.
• Assists with the interpretation of customer requirements into feasible options, and communicates these back to the business stakeholders.
• Manages and tracks the status of requirements throughout the project lifecycle; enforces and redefines as necessary.
• Communicates changes, enhancements, and modifications of business requirements verbally or through written documentation to project managers, sponsors, and other stakeholders so that issues and solutions are understood.
• Provides guidance and/or instruction to junior staff members.
• Defining and setting development, test, release, update, and support processes for DevOps operation.
• Help to create a strong process for best coding practices.
  

Requirements

• Should have a minimum of 4 + years of continuous work in the same role.
• Exposure to working in a product company and cybersecurity would be an advantage.
• Knowledge of any one of the technologies (i) ReactJs, Python, Django, MySql, or (ii) Springboot, Java, JavaScript, and MySql would be an advantage.
• A Bachelor's degree in computer science or a Professional course is a must.
• Working knowledge of Linux and Windows-based infrastructure is a must.
• Working knowledge on productivity tools like Visio, XD (wireframe creation) or equivalent, Office CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Jira, etc is a must.
• Working knowledge of various tools, open-source technologies, cloud services, DevOps, and Agile principles would be an advantage.
• Domain knowledge of cybersecurity would be an advantage.
• Proven capabilities and experience in project and user-testing management, business and technical requirements analysis, elicitation, modelling, verification, and methodology development.
• Demonstrated project management skills and project management software skills, including planning, organising, and managing resources.
• Excellent understanding of the organisation's goals and objectives.
• Strong verbal, written and communication skills in project management and documentation.
• Proven development of innovative and impactful systems solutions.
• Extensive experience with data visualization.
• Highly proficient technical writing capabilities, visualisation.
