Role Overview

We are looking for a highly skilled

Business Intelligence Developer

to support enterprise-wide data initiatives. This individual will play a key role in developing data integration pipelines, dashboards, and reporting systems using Microsoft BI tools. The role demands both strong technical skills and the ability to work with stakeholders to translate business requirements into actionable insights.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop robust ETL processes to integrate data from diverse source systems into a centralized BI environment.
  • Develop interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI, SSRS, and other BI technologies.
  • Ensure data quality and consistency through process automation and validation.
  • Maintain and enhance data catalogs and dictionaries.
  • Create and manage data marts and data lakes to support analytics and reporting needs.
  • Collaborate with business users to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Lead or participate in the design and development of BI dashboards, reports, and integrated applications.
  • Monitor and support ongoing data integration processes for performance, accuracy, and efficiency.
  • Document and communicate technical solutions effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Train business users to promote adoption and correct usage of BI tools and reports.

Must-Have Skills

  • 4+ years of experience working with SQL Server databases
  • 3+ years of experience with:
    • SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)
    • SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS)
    • SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS)
  • 2+ years of experience with Microsoft Business Intelligence (MSBI) stack
  • Hands-on expertise in Power BI, including Power BI Cloud Services
  • Strong knowledge of data warehouse concepts and dimensional data modeling
  • Proven experience in developing dashboards and data visualization tools
  • Proficiency in writing and optimizing complex SQL queries

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with other BI tools like Tableau, QlikView/QlikSense, or MicroStrategy
  • Familiarity with CI/CD, DevOps practices, or cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or Snowflake
  • Exposure to scripting languages (Python, R, etc.) and advanced analytics tools
  • Experience working with Power BI Report Server
  • Prior work with data lakes or reference data management
