Job Description for Business Head
Position: Business Head
Location: Kottayam, Kochi, Kannur
Experience Required: Minimum 3 years of experience, worked as Business Head/Business Development Manager.
Role Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Business Head to lead and manage overall business operations, drive growth, and implement effective strategies to achieve organizational goals. The ideal candidate will have prior leadership experience in sales, business development, or operations, with proven skills in team management, financial planning, and strategic execution.
Key Responsibilities
· Business Strategy & Planning: Develop, implement, and monitor strategic business plans aligned with company objectives. Continuously analyze industry trends and adapt strategies to stay competitive in the market.
· Sales & Revenue Generation: Drive sales initiatives to achieve revenue targets by identifying potential markets, developing sales strategies, and ensuring effective execution by the team. Focus on consistent revenue growth and profitability.
· Team Leadership & Development: Lead and mentor cross-functional teams to maximize productivity and efficiency. Provide training, coaching, and guidance to ensure team members achieve individual and collective targets. Build a high-performance work culture.
· Market Expansion & Business Development: Identify new business opportunities, develop partnerships, and expand the customer base. Conduct market research to explore untapped segments and create tailored business plans for expansion.
· Client & Stakeholder Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders. Ensure long-term client retention by delivering high-quality service and effective solutions to meet client needs.
· Financial Oversight & Reporting: Oversee business budgets, financial planning, and resource allocation. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs),analyze business performance, and prepare detailed reports for senior management decision-making.
· Operational Excellence: Streamline processes, optimize resource utilization, and ensure efficient execution of business activities. Maintain operational standards that improve service delivery and customer experience.
· Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure adherence to company policies, legal requirements, and industry regulations. Identify potential risks and develop risk mitigation strategies to protect business interests.
Skills Required
· Proven experience (2–3 years) in business development, sales, or leadership roles.
· Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Commerce, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s in Finance or MBA preferred).
· Strong knowledge of business operations, financial planning, and market development.
· Excellent leadership, team management, and decision-making skills.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a results-driven mindset.
· Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
· Ability to thrive under pressure and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
