About The Role

As a BD Specialist at Virtuoso, you are the engine that ignites the pipeline. You’ll run targeted outbound motions, execute integrated marketing campaigns, and qualify leads to fuel growth for a category-defining AI platform. Working closely with Business Development Leadership, Marketing, and Sales, you’ll turn market interest into revenue opportunities and ensure a predictable, well-qualified top-of-funnel.
  • Lead generation through proactive outbound prospecting.
  • Lead and execute marketing campaigns
  • Pipeline development in collaboration with sales and marketing efforts.

Key Tasks

  • Outbound Prospecting & Pipeline Creation (Primary Focus)
  • Execute multi-channel outbound sequences aligned with target personas and verticals.
  • Drive outbound campaigns linked to product launches, content, events, and marketing initiatives.
  • Identify, research, and engage key accounts across mid-market and enterprise segments.
  • Continuously refine messaging based on persona insights, objections, and market signals.
  • Campaign Execution & Collaboration
  • Partner with Marketing to activate outbound components of campaigns — lists, messaging, follow-up flows.
  • Surface real-time feedback on messaging, ICP signals, and engagement patterns.
  • Work with the Business Development Leader to evolve outbound strategies and plays.
  • Qualification & Sales Handoff
  • Conduct short, structured discovery calls to validate fit, urgency, and next steps.
  • Hand off qualified opportunities cleanly to Account Executives with clear context and documentation.
  • Support inbound qualification as needed (not a primary responsibility).
  • Tools, Process & Reporting
  • Maintain tight CRM hygiene in HubSpot: every touch, progression, and qualification logged.
  • Use sales engagement tools to run consistent, scalable outbound motions.
Report weekly on outbound performance, pipeline influence, and learnings from the field.

  • Strong outbound prospecting and lead generation skills.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in using CRM tools for lead management and tracking.

Qualifications And Experience Required

1-4 years of experience in business development or a similar sales role.

Education Level Required If Any

B.Tech/ Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.

Workplace Experience If Required (industry, Role Etc, Technology Space)

Proficient in CRM software (e.g., HubSpot), and Microsoft Office Suite, and experience with sales automation tools
