Your role is crucial for ensuring the efficient operation of the production department. Duties and responsibilities · Develop production schedules and coordinate manufacturing processes to meet delivery deadlines and production targets. · Allocate resources, including manpower, equipment, and materials, to optimize production efficiency. · Ensure that products meet quality standards and specifications by implementing quality control measures. · Identify areas for process improvement and implement measures to enhance product quality and production efficiency. · Lead and manage production staff, including training, performance evaluations, and addressing personnel issues. · Oversee inventory levels to prevent shortages or excess stock, optimizing supply chain processes. · Schedule and coordinate equipment maintenance to minimize downtime and maximize production capacity. · Provide regular production reports to senior management, highlighting performance and areas for improvement. Qualifications · Bachelor's or Diploma degree in Mechanical Engineering or Production Engineering. · Proven experience in a production Management role within a machine shop or manufacturing environment. · Proficiency in manufacturing processes, machining, and CNC & VMC programming. · Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. · Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and techniques. · Familiarity with quality control methodologies and standards. · Effective communication and leadership abilities. · Proficiency in CAD/CAM software is a plus.
