Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated Business Development Manager to drive new client acquisition, build strong business relationships, and contribute to overall revenue growth. The ideal candidate should have experience in B2B sales, excellent communication skills, and a strong understanding of IT services or SaaS solutions.


Key Responsibilities

1. Lead Generation & Prospecting

  • Identify and qualify new business opportunities through research, networking, and outreach.
  • Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline.
  • Conduct cold calls, email outreach, and follow-ups.

2. Client Meetings & Presentations

  • Conduct discovery calls, product/service demos, and pitch presentations.
  • Understand client requirements and recommend suitable solutions.
  • Build trust-based relationships with key decision-makers.

3. Proposal Development & Deal Closure

  • Prepare proposals, quotations, and commercial offers.
  • Manage negotiations and close deals within expected timelines.
  • Ensure smooth handover to the delivery/operations team post-closure.

4. Account Management

  • Maintain long-term relationships with clients to ensure repeat business.
  • Identify upselling/cross-selling opportunities.
  • Act as a point of contact for client queries and escalations.

5. Reporting & Coordination

  • Maintain accurate records of leads, opportunities, and closures.
  • Provide weekly updates on sales activities, pipeline, and targets.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to align project delivery with client expectations.

Required Skills & Competencies

  • Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to understand and sell IT/technology-based services or solutions.
  • Good negotiation and deal-closing skills.
  • Self-driven with strong time-management and follow-up discipline.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, IT, or a related field.
  • 1-3 years of experience in B2B sales or business development.
  • Experience in IT services, SaaS, CRM solutions, or digital transformation is an advantage.
  • Proven track record of meeting sales targets.
