                                Business Development Manager – Franchisee
Expansion

Job Purpose:
To drive franchise network expansion across target cities by identifying potential investors,
building strong relationships, and ensuring successful onboarding and handover of new
franchise partners for Trim X. The role focuses on business growth, lead conversion, and
strategic expansion of the salon chain.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Franchise Acquisition & Expansion
 Identify and evaluate potential franchise partners through market research, digital
campaigns, and networking.
 Conduct meetings and presentations to pitch the Trim X franchise model and
investment opportunities.
 Manage the complete franchise acquisition cycle — from lead generation to
agreement signing.
 Develop and execute region-wise expansion plans focusing on Tier 1 and Tier 2 cities.
2. Financial & Commercial Analysis
 Prepare and present ROI, P&L, and break-even projections to potential franchisees.
 Negotiate franchise fees, setup costs, and other commercial terms within company
guidelines.
 Ensure financial due diligence and timely documentation for each new partner.
3. Coordination & Onboarding
 Work closely with Operations, Projects, and Marketing teams to ensure smooth pre-
launch setup and handover.
 Monitor new outlet launches and ensure compliance with brand and operational
SOPs.
 Support franchisees during their first few months to stabilize operations and revenue
generation.
4. Marketing & Lead Management
 Collaborate with marketing teams to run franchise lead generation campaigns
(Google, Meta, exhibitions, and B2B portals).
 Track and manage leads via CRM; maintain accurate reporting and follow-up status.
 Represent the brand at franchise expos, trade fairs, and business events.
5. Market Intelligence
 Track competitor franchise models, pricing, and market trends.
 Provide insights and recommendations for improving franchise offerings and market
positioning.
Key Skills & Competencies:
 Proven experience in franchise sales or business development (preferably in the
salon, retail, F&B, or fitness sector).
 Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
 Good understanding of P&L and ROI modeling.
 Ability to travel extensively and work independently.
 Proficiency in CRM tools, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Qualifications:
 Graduate or MBA in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
 Minimum 3–5 years of experience in franchise or retail expansion roles.
Performance KPIs:
 Number of franchise leads generated and converted.
 Territory-wise expansion and revenue contribution.
 Timely onboarding and outlet launch success rate.
 Franchisee satisfaction and retention metrics.
Compensation:
 Fixed Salary + Performance-based Incentives (linked to franchise closures and revenue targets).
