About the Role

We are looking for a highly experienced, dynamic Business Development Manager with a strong background in the Events & Exhibitions industry. This role focuses solely on business acquisition, strategic growth, and client relationship building. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with the confidence to independently lead client conversations, close deals, and drive revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities

Client Acquisition & Business Growth

• Identify and secure new business opportunities with brands, agencies, corporates, and production houses.

• Pitch and convert leads for film-related services including:

• Ad Films

• Brand Films

• Corporate Films

• Product Videos

• Digital Commercials

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with decision-makers, marketing heads, and creative agencies.

• Prepare proposals, quotations, project briefs, and pitch presentations.

• Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends and competitor insights.

Project Coordination & Internal Collaboration

• Work closely with creative, production, scripting, and editing teams to understand project needs.

• Manage client briefs, expectations, timelines, and deliverables.

• Ensure smooth coordination across all stages — pre-production, production, and post-production.

• Track project progress and ensure on-time delivery with the expected creative quality.

Strategic Growth & Representation

• Represent ETS Film Department in client meetings, agency visits, and industry networking events.

• Support leadership in planning long-term growth strategies for the Film Division.

• Maintain accurate MIS reports on leads, conversions, revenue, and performance metrics.

Revenue Targets

• Meet monthly/quarterly business goals and revenue objectives.

• Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities with existing clients.

Candidate Requirements

• 2–3 years of experience in film-making, advertising, media production, or working with reputed advertising agencies.

• Strong understanding of ad film workflows, production processes, storytelling, and creative communication.

• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

• Strong client-handling skills with a proactive and growth-oriented mindset.

• Proficiency in MS Office, CRM tools, and presentation preparation.

Qualifications

• Educational Background:

• VIZCOM / Mass Communication

• MBA (Marketing) / BBA

• Equivalent degrees related to Media, Film Studies, Visual Communication, Advertising, or Communication Arts

• Professional Experience:

• 2–3 years of experience in film production, ad filmmaking, media agencies, or creative advertising firms.

• Technical / Industry Skills:

• Strong understanding of ad production workflow

• Knowledge of scripting, storyboarding, and production terminology

• Familiarity with creative and post-production processes



Soft Skills:

• Excellent communication & negotiation

• Strong presentation and client-handling skills

• Ability to multitask and manage deadlines efficiently

• Strong analytical and reporting skills
